MY STORY

Harriet Kingsford

Harriet Kingsford

My interest in plants and nature was encouraged at an early age by horticultural parents. Combining this passion with my artistic and creative flair, I have spent the past 8 years developing my skills and experience in the industry.

My journey began at Pershore Horticultural College where I studied not only horticulture but also landscaping. As well as the plants, I learned all aspects of fencing, paving and drainage enabling me to better understand the landscapers I work with daily.

After several years maintaining London gardens, I studied at the Inchbald Institute of Garden Design.  I designed for a company based in Putney and also helped project manage the builds. I subsequently moved to a prestigious Wimbledon-based design & build company where I now work part time in the design department.   I also have my own design studio in London and work across all areas in the South East of England.

I have worked on show gardens at Chelsea and Hampton Court with some of the world’s top designers and I’m a member of the only professional association for garden designers in the UK - The Society of Garden Designers.

With a passion for the great outdoors and all things natural, I endeavour to help my clients make the most of their green living spaces.
