Farnham Garden Design

FARNHAM

Before

The garden was essentially a concrete jungle! With only a shed, a driveway and lots of concrete slabs.

The client suffers from bad hayfever and therefore wanted an allergy free planting scheme that encouraged as much wildlife into the space as possible.

After

I broke the rectilinear shape of the garden by adding a curved path through planting to a seating area housing a curved teak bench. This was positioned to enjoy the views out over the planting to the feature water bowl.

Dark grey fences blurred the boundaries and enhanced the planting in front. An arching multi-stem crab apple was chosen for its seasonal interest in the garden.
